Functions, tasks, goals
The aim of the juvenile support information system is to promote the protection of children's rights and interests by ensuring the processing of the necessary information and facilitating inter-institutional co-operation in:
- protection of the rights and interests of a minor;
- supervision of the provision of the rights and interests of a minor;
- performance of preventive work;
- provision of social assistance and social services;
- prevention and detection of criminal offenses and other offenses;
- search for a minor;
- ensuring the enforcement of administrative penalties, criminal penalties, security measures and coercive measures of an educational nature;
- settlement and the preparation of an evaluation report on probation clients.

- personal data of the child;
- information about the education of the child;
- information about a child's family doctor or pediatrician;
- information about the child's disability;
- information about the child's own income;
- information about about the interests and habits of the child;
- information about social services and assistance provided to the child;
- information about the presence of the child in the preventive registration;
- information about violence against a child;
- information about the contact of the child with law enforcement authorities in connection with the provision of assistance or detention;
- information about the administration of an administrative violation in connection with the violation committed by the child;
- information about the involvement of the child in criminal proceedings, court proceedings, penalties and coercive measures;
- information about an adult who has involved the child in activities for which criminal liability is provided;
- information about the course of the execution of a custodial sentence or detention sentence imposed on a child;
- information about a child - a probation client;
- information about the course of execution of the additional penalty - police control;
- information about the person who provided the information in relation to the child;
- information about the legal representatives of the child;
- information about visiting the child's place of residence;
- information about persons residing in the actual place of residence of the child;
- information about a child who has been the victim of a criminal offense, and
- information of orphans’ and custody courts regarding cases of deprivation of rights of care and custody and restoration of rights of care and custody, cases of foster families, adoption cases, custody cases, as well as registration logs of orphans' and custody courts.

- medical practitioners in accordance with the technical possibilities;

- citas likumā vai ar pašvaldības lēmumu pilnvarotas pašvaldības iestādes vai amatpersonas;
- Valsts policija;
- Valsts probācijas dienests;
- Pilsonības un migrācijas lietu pārvalde.

- State Police, Prison Administration, State Border Guard, municipal police, social correction educational institution regarding children in it, State Agency for Social Integration, Ministry of Welfare, Orphans' and Custody Courts, municipal social services, State Probation Service, State Inspectorate for Protection of the Rights of a Child, State Social Insurance Agency, Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs, Office of the Ombudsman.
- Foreign competent authorities and international organizations in accordance with concluded international agreements and regulatory enactments of the European Union.
- The data subject (or his / her authorized person) may receive information about himself / herself.
How is training in working with the information system organized?
If the user needs training in working with the information system, contact the department staff. Training is mandatory when granting a user data entry / correction rights.
