The Information Centre of the Ministry of the Interior (IC MoI) in cooperation with the State Border Guard (SBS) and the State Security Agency (SSA) implements the project “Modernization of Radio Relay Data Transmission Network” (hereinafter - the Project) in the framework of the National Security Fund National Programme 2014 - 2020.
Project goal:
To ensure the creation of a common National situational image by modernizing the existing land border radio relay telecommunications network.
Project implementation period: 28.04.2020 - 30.11.2022
Funding: 2 500 000 EUR
(of which financed from the Fund: EUR 1 875 000, state budget: EUR 625 000)
Project activities:
- Radio relay network design / implementation;
- Delivery / installation of equipment and software required for the modernization of the radio relay network;
- Purchase of additional necessary equipment.
Project results:
- Upgraded operational full-function radio relay network telecommunication network;
- Purchased the necessary additional equipment for successful project implementation.
